Evaluation Criteria

The Academy believes in the continuous assessment system of evaluation. This system has been designed to keep students continually informed of their performance in relation to the required standards of academic achievements. Our system of evaluation uses highly scientific and computing tools that clearly demarcate the individual performance and achievement of every student. Besides, our continuous evaluation process prepares the students for rewarding achievement in the final exams. Ankuram conducts the following tests and examinations:

Monthly Test

Every month students have to sit for the test of all the individual subjects they have studied during the time. The subject teachers will use their discretion for devising the test.

Terminal Examination

One terminal examination is held in each academic year, usually before the Dashain Vacation. Mid Term Examination: Mid term examination is held a few months after terminal examination.

Pre-Board Exam

At the end of each session, a pre-board examination is held following the exact NEB exam pattern. Only those securing at least 40% in each subject are qualified to appear in the Board Examination.

Progress reports of the Terminal examination, Mid Term and Pre-Board are given to the parents/guardians. However, the students whose academic performance is unsatisfactory and whose discipline record is objectionable will be penalized. Our expert counsellors will work to bring them back on track for success in the final exams.
