Ananda Bahadur Chand

Mr. Chand holds a Master’s degree in Science with specialization in Chemistry. He is persuing Ph.D. from Institute of Science and Technology (IOST, TU) in collaboration with North Carolina A& T State University, North Carolina, USA. Moreover, he has successfully completed many professional courses: a 10-day Global Leadership Course on Tobacco Control from Johns Hopkins University, USA; Project Management Course, Leadership and Management Course and Budget and Financial Risk Management Course through the International Management Development Program, under the scholarship of The Union. Mr. Chand has also served as the Chairperson of the Board of Nepal Food Corporation, a prominent corporation of Nepal Government, and also as an Executive Director of BP Koirala Memorial Planetarium, Observatory & Science Museum, Kirtipur under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. He has presented many research papers on various issues of public health and chemistry in national and international conferences. He has visited more than 40 countries including the USA, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, the UK, Singapore and more. His strength lies in managing projects, leadership and research.
