Evaluation Criteria

Ankuram Academy follows a continuous assessment system, designed to keep students informed of their progress in relation to academic standards. Our evaluation system uses advanced tools that clearly track each student’s individual performance and achievement. This ongoing assessment process prepares students for success in exams. The Academy conducts the following assessments:

Monthly Test

Students take a monthly test for each subject studied. Subject teachers design these tests according to course progress and learning objectives.

Monthly MCQ Test

At the end of each month, an MCQ test is conducted to help students develop the skills needed for entrance examinations. Each academic session includes thousands of practice questions to enhance preparation.

Pre-Board Exam

At the end of each session, a pre-board examination is held following the exact NEB exam pattern. Only those securing at least 40% in each subject are qualified to appear in the Board Examination.

Terminal Examination

One terminal examination is held in each academic year, usually before the Dashain Vacation.

Mid Term Examination: Mid term examination is held a few months after terminal examination.

Pre-Board Examination

Practical Examination: Practical exams are conducted in line with NEB requirements, assessed by both internal and external examiners.

Progress reports of the Terminal examination, Mid Term and Pre-Board are given to the parents/guardians. However, the students whose academic performance is unsatisfactory and whose discipline record is objectionable will be penalized. Our expert counsellors will work to bring them back on track for success in the final exams.
